Martin Kondziella (born in 1969 in Erfurt) has received a comprehensive musical education as a pianist, organist and conductor.
He is in possession of the artistic diploma in piano, the A-diploma in church music and the concert-diploma for organ. Master classes with Jürgen Uhde, Ton Koopman, Wolfgang Seifen and Ferdinand Klinda completed his education.
From 1992 - 1994 he was a church musician in Thuringia, 1994 - 1997 in St. Canisius Berlin-Charlottenburg and between 1997 and 2000 at St. Matthew Church in Alfter near Bonn.
From 2000 to 2004 was Martin Kondziella, who is also active as a fine artist, organist at the important Steinmeyer organ at the Ss. Corpus Christi Church in Berlin, also from 2001 to 2007 choirmaster at St. George Berlin-Pankow. Center of his artistic activity since 2004, is the working as Regens chori and organist at the Pontifical Institute of St. Philipp Neri with intensive care of Gregorian chant and Renaissance music.
He also works as a freelance concert organist and conductor of the Palestrina Ensemble Berlin.
Repeated concerts in the Berlin Philharmonic and the Konzerthaus am Gendarmenmarkt, recitals in many important national and international churches and works for radio and television as well as several CD recordings document his artistic work.
